September 23, 2009 - Senior Appreciation Day
St. Joseph Shrine
Mass at 11:00 a.m. followed by lunch (catered by Sal's)
RSVP to either parish office by September 16th - 467-2106 or 467-2183. This is our way to thank you for all that you are and all that you have done for us or others.
October 21, 2009 - Cider Mill!
Join us for a tour of Flavor Fruit Farms. We will carpool from the family center at 2:00 p.m. or you may meet us there at 2:30 p.m. More details to follow.
November 18, 2009 - Thanksgiving reflection and turkey potluck!
Join us for some prayer and good food. We'll supply the turkey, stuffing, potatoes and gravy and you bring a dish to pass if you'd like.
We'll start at 12 noon this day in the family center.
December 13, 2009 - We will gather at 2:00 p.m. and make some Christmas cards and small gifts to include with the Christmas baskets to the shut-ins, and some Christmas cards for the recipients of the Giving Tree. If you like you could also bring some cookies or candies for the baskets. The Altar Society will be putting the baskets together on Dec. 21st.
For those who have a hard time getting around - we have been invited to two dress rehearsals at the Croswell Opera House in Adrian. They are the "Rocky Horror Show" on Thursday, October 29, 2009 and "Breakfast at Frannies" on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. There is no cost for this but you must RSVP to me by the Sunday before the event. We have to be there by 7:30 pm so we will leave the family center at 6:50 p.m.
